While floating isn’t one of the main features of our tumblers, our 16oz and 26oz sizes do float! Just make sure the air-tight lid is securely on and the tumbler is filled about 2/3 to 3/4 full.

Marcello Pirani was a German physicist that invented a vacuum gauge, which is one of the main tools used during manufacturing of the Pirani Party Tumbler.
I truly appreciate these cups. I own several and have also given them as gifts. I would award a full five stars, but I believe there could be an improvement to make the flip-top portion of the lid easier to open. They are so secure that they can be quite challenging to unlock.
