While floating isn’t one of the main features of our tumblers, our 16oz and 26oz sizes do float! Just make sure the air-tight lid is securely on and the tumbler is filled about 2/3 to 3/4 full.

Marcello Pirani was a German physicist that invented a vacuum gauge, which is one of the main tools used during manufacturing of the Pirani Party Tumbler.
Tumbler definitely keeps a drink colder longer than most of my other tumblers which is great and love the 26oz size as it fits in all cupholders while still being a larger size.
It would be a 5 star but my beautiful cup had a scratch on it. Love these cups. This is my 3rd purchase, but guess what my family is getting for Christmas! Took smaller one on cruise. Kept my ftozen drinks frozen. The floating was awesome at the beach. Good-bye Yeti, you have been upgraded!
We just took our cups to Jamaica. We bought them because of the viral video of them floating. I did notice there is instructions. It has to be 2/3 full. I didn’t expect it to tip over when it was less than 2/3rd. So being from Wisconsin on vacation it wasn’t floatable too often. I didn’t really test how cold it stayed (again I’m from Wisconsin drinks Don longe). I do love that it can fit two cans of adult beverage.
The screw top was helpful and the bigger size helps from not having to refill it frequently. However, I often keep this by my bed at night for sips during my sleep. The current slit for drinking makes it difficult to drink from while laying down (without spilling). Same could be said from laying on a towel at the beach. What would be nice is a straw adapter that could fit snuggly through the drinking hole and provide a couple inches of straw above the lid. It could be made of rubber or rubberized plastic. There are some cups I’ve seen that have a lid flap that conceal a straw but when opened, a straw flops out. That would be awesome. The current configuration is fine for driving in a car or otherwise sitting upright. But while longing in a chaise lounge or lying down, different dynamics come into play. You could make two different lids depending on how you’re going to use the cup. Sometimes, I don’t use a lid at all. The cup still does a good job keeping the drink hot or cold.
