Marcello Pirani was a German physicist that invented a vacuum gauge, which is one of the main tools used during manufacturing of the Pirani Party Tumbler.

The 16 oz is just the right size for my use. It can hold cold or hot drinks at a good temperature. The tumbler fits in the car cup holders. Love the color varieties.
We own several different brand tumblers, but the first one we grab now is the Pirani! Had to buy a couple more because two wasn't enough. The others are either to big or just feel bulky. The Pirani 16oz tumbler just feels right! Excellent Product ! : )
I love how it feels in my hand. It's lighter and, with the spill proof lid that comes standard, I find it superior to my YETI tumbler. The tapered design is not only great for saving space in my cabinet when stacking with my other Pirani tumblers, but it also lends itself to being less prone to slipping out of my hand. I'm buying these as gifts for friends/family this season. I use it from morning coffee, water throughout the day to my evening beverage. Love it!

I have several and love them. Keeps things at the proper temperature. One of the lids doesn’t stay on but I switch.
