I sent these as a thank you gift to my cousin after a visit there. I selected our home state of Montana and where they live now, in Florida. They loved them and immediately put the sticker on their car!

I love your mugs and have purchased several but this time I ordered 2 state mugs for Alaska. These are gifts for our daughter and her friend who are going on an Alaska cruise with us in June. To be honest, I wasn’t crazy about the lettering. I really have to look hard to see that it spells out Alaska. As I said, I truly love your products but this time felt disappointed.
Thanks for the review and for purchasing these for your daughters cruise. I am sorry to hear that you were not interested in the Alaska design that is on our website. These were designed to be in the shape of the state and some states are easier shapes to fill out than others. We will keep Alaska in mind as one that might be harder to read!
I received a state cup as a gift in December. The lip of the top was broken. It's fully functional and still leak proof, but I'm puzzled as to how the flip piece broke.

Also, please don't discard the lid without the flip! It still works great in situations where you don't need to be leak-proof.
